 Betti paints realistic watercolors and oils. Her subject matter includes front porches, landscapes, houses, seascapes and Europe. She received a B.S. in Art Educatgion at Skidmore College and has taken workshops with Domenic DeStafano, Ray Ellis, George Shedd, Al Brouillette and Zoltan Szabo.
Betti taught art at all levels in public school systems. She was a supervisor of art, a designer of textiles, wallpaper designer, designed paper products, made custom tile murals and an art teacher.
Betti was a CPGAP - a Coast Guard Artist, painting the Coast Guard in action. These paintings are shown in the Coast Guard Museum in Washington, D.C. Betti has also had work accepted for UNICEF.
For nineteen years Betti had her own gallery on Cape Cod, and for two years she had a gallery in Naples, FL. She did many art shows in Naples and New England.
She is a member of the New Hampshire Art Association and the Seacoast Artists Association. She is a past member of Naples Art Association, Naples Artcrafts, Cap Cod Art Association, Connecticut Watercolor Society, Glastonbury Art Guild, Bergen County Artist Guild, The Salmagundi Club, Wellfleet Art Gallery Association and the Art League of Marco Island.
All three of Betti and Don’s children are artistic. They all work at it professionally and all chose a field of art that was different from hers. They have seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild..
