Born in Maine, Nancy has lived in northern New England all her life, primarily in New Hampshire.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in Art from the University of New Hampshire, and has continued her studies at the New Hampshire Institute of Art and at various workshops nationwide.  Nancy is a member of the New Hampshire Art Association.  “Having loved and absorbed the beautiful landscape of upper New England, I hope to recapture the feeling and impact of that landscape in my art.  Without trying to duplicate a particular scene, I try to offer a remembrance.  Whether it be a feeling of joy, a memory, a longing, an appreciation of beauty, or a lover of color and light, I hope it will resonate with the viewer.”
