Little Church Theater
Surroundings Art Gallery is honored once again to hang art at the Little Church Theater for their summer season. A portion of any sales goes to support the programs at the Theater.
Among other events, a stage production of “On Golden Pond” directed for the first time by the Academy Award Winning Author Ernest Thompson will be presented in two runs during the Summer. Check out the LCT website for information on all of their activies. www.littlechurchtheater.com.

Gallery Walks: Several years ago The Sandwich Home Industries, Patricia Ladd Carega Gallery and Surroundings Art Gallery got together with the Corner House Inn to create an evening of culture and cuisine. The galleries are open after hours from 5 to 7 p.m. A visit to each gallery entitles you to a discount at the Corner House Inn. Stroll the streets of Sandwich, see what is going on in the art world and enjoy music (Friday evenings in the Pub) and great food afterwards.

Wednesday Night Piano Recitals during July and August: The “recitals” will be an informal social event for those in the area to be able to hear some really good locally connected talent. We are using a Grand Piano that has been beautifully restored by local artisan Lee Morton and is also available for sale.

Surroundings Support of Local Non-Profit Organizations: We are pleased to support a number of non profit organizations in the area. We do that by providing a portion of the sales price for prints of selected paintings by our artists. Below are the prints available.

|
“Berry Pond” - This pastel painting of Berry Pond in Moultonborough was done by Sherry Lively. Ten dollars from each sale will go to the Moultonborough Historical Society to support their programs.
“Church Island” - Marguerite Tanner painted this in 2002. Church Island is an iconic island on Squam Lake and a favorite for weddings. Ten dollars from each sale will go to the Chocorua Church Association to support their programs.
