 Peg Scully lives in New Hampshire’s White Mountains where she has a studio and gallery. She has given indoor and outdoor watercolor workshops and classes in landscape, still life, and figure work. An accomplished portrait painter, Peg also enjoys plein-air painting, and strives to capture the light in portrait, landscape or still life.
Peg studied oil painting at the Ridgewood (NJ) Art Institute with Arthur Maynard, and watercolor with Tony Van Hasselt and Judi Wagner. Her work has been shown at the American Watercolor Society’s Annual Exhibition in New York City. Her paintings have also been included in the New England Watercolor Society’s 6th and 7th Biennial Exhibitions in 1998 and 2000 and at the NEWS New England Show in 2003. She has won several awards at Mount Washington Valley Art Association shows including first prize at the Holiday Art Show, and second prize at Art In The Park, 2005.
