Sally Nolan
Folk Artist Sally E. Nolan, maintains workshops in New England and Nova Scotia.  Sally is a former teacher, Blueberry farmer, Air Force Veteran, and grandmother.  She continues in the folk tradition of her mother, noted folk artist, Elizabeth Dean.

Barrel Staves are one of her favorite objects on which to paint.  “It is a pleasure to use wooden barrel staves to create my interpretation and sense of life in the late 18th and 19th century in unique, colorful, and sometimes patriotic presentations.

Whether it be barrel staves, chests, or other objects, Sally has been a favorite for many years.

The items below are an example of the different types of folk art we have by Sally Nolan.  We have more of each type in addition to folk art painted on other objects.  Please ask to see if we have what you are looking for.
