The gallery is physically closed for the Winter, but virtually open via the website, email, or phone. During most of the Winter, an appointment can be made to visit the gallery.

Welcome to this wonderful area nestled between Lake Winnipesaukee, Squam Lake and the base of the White Mountains. Our gallery specializes in original fine art produced by extremely talented locally connected artists. You will see works in a variety of mediums (oil, watercolor. pastels, acrylics, glass, wood, etc.). We have beautiful folk art painted on many backgrounds: canvas, barrel staves, sap buckets, furniture and other objects. On the “Artists and Art” pages, you can take a tour of the artists’ work.
Surroundings Art Gallery is a very special place and we are proud to bring such a high caliber of art to you. Come visit if you can, we know you will come away inspired - not only with the art, but with how it reaches out to touch all your senses to bring this beautiful part of New England to you.
