Robert Gordon is a New England artist who works in oils and watercolors. His chosen subjects range from the intimacy of gardens and still lifes to the wild grandeur of landscape and seascape. He paints the mountains and rivers of New Hampshire, the villages and farms of Vermont and the coastline and harbors of Maine and Massachusetts. He studied at Montserrat School of Art in Beverly, MA and at Southern Vermont Art Center in Manchester, VT. Bob is a member of the North Shore Arts Association, the International Society of Marine Painters, the Newburyport Art Association and the Mount Washington Art Association.
Bob has won over forty awards and has exhibited in one-man and national group shows all over the country. In 1992 he was featured in “Palette Talk.” He also teaches both beginning and advanced students.
